About Mailyard
2 questions
What is B2B direct mail software?
Software that turns a lead list into mailed letters. It finds and verifies each person's business address, merges your letter, shows print proofs for approval, then prints, mails and tracks each piece. Mailyard does all of that starting from a list of work emails or LinkedIn profiles.
Can I automate direct mail?
Lists and address finding
5 questions
What do I need to upload?
A work email per contact is enough. A LinkedIn URL or a name and company also works. Lists that already have addresses skip research and use no credits.
How do you find business addresses?
Scout checks where the company publishes its address: its website, LinkedIn company page, business listings and state registry filings. It picks the office closest to the contact's city, or headquarters, and shows its sources.
Do you look up home addresses?
No. We research business addresses only. If a small business lists a home office as its business address, that address can mail.
What happens when you can't find an address?
The contact is held or marked not found, with the reason. Add an address, retry or leave them out. Neither uses a credit.
Can I reuse a list in another campaign?
Yes. Lists live in Leads, and reusing a researched list costs no new credits.
Verification
2 questions
How do you verify addresses?
Each address, found or uploaded, is checked against USPS CASS before it can mail. Unconfirmed addresses, missing suites, vacant buildings and suppression matches are held with the reason.
Can I stop certain people or companies from being mailed?
Yes. Add emails, domains, LinkedIn profiles or company names to your suppression list, or upload a CSV. Matches are left out of each drop.
Letters and proofs
3 questions
What can I send?
Letters: 8.5×11 inches in a #10 window envelope, black-and-white or color, mailed USPS First-Class or Marketing Mail, with up to five added pages. Postcards are coming soon.
How do I design a letter?
Place text, handwritten notes, a photo, your logo and a QR code on a drag-and-drop page, with merge fields from your list. On the Personal note, Flexible letter and Executive brief templates, Quill can draft the copy from a brief.
What will I approve?
Three to five production print proofs, picked to cover edge cases like your longest name. Change anything and you approve again.
Sending and tracking
3 questions
How far ahead do I schedule a drop?
At least 24 hours. You can move or withdraw it until it prints. During the beta, our team also reviews each drop.
How do I know a letter arrived?
Each letter is tracked from printing to delivered (inferred from USPS scans) or returned, in the campaign's tracking view.
How does QR tracking work?
Each letter can carry its own QR code. A scan opens your landing page with the contact's CRM ID and is logged with the time and device. You can change the destination after printing.
Pricing
2 questions
How do research credits work?
A credit is used only when research delivers a verified, mailable address. Unused credits roll over, and research pauses when you run out instead of charging you.
How much does a letter cost?
From $1.89, depending on your plan, with printing and postage, plus $0.39 per added page. You pay the total on your quote.
Integrations and data
3 questions
Does it work with my tools?
Bring lists from Clay, HubSpot, Salesforce, Apollo or any CSV, with record IDs carried through to scans. Clay can enroll leads directly, and the API and webhooks connect the rest. There's no native CRM sync yet.
What data do you keep, and who can see it?
Your organization's data is kept separate and used only for your campaigns. We keep personal data out of logs and don't accept health data. See Security.
Can you run it for me?
Yes. With Mailyard Managed, our team builds the list, writes the letter, runs approvals with you and reports the results.
